Drake's Barrel House is the home of Drake's Brewing. Enjoy an outdoor beer garden and warehouse-style tasting room set amidst hundreds of wooden barrels. Choose from 24 different Drake's beers on tap, including flagships, one off releases, or sour and barrel-aged brews. Growler fills, kegs, and packaged beer to-go are available. You can also enjoy delicious tots, burgers, and other bites from our Brew! Kitchen.
Directions:
Drake's can be a bit difficult to find your first time. Once you reach the West Gate Center (1933 Davis St., San Leandro) just head to the far Southwest corner of the complex, just behind Walmart & Sports Authority. Get here and you'll find beer! Cheers.
History
Established in 1989.
Drake's Brewing Co rolled out its first keg in August 1989. It was one of first small production craft breweries in the San Francisco Bay Area and has become known for its wide variety of hoppy and high-quality beers.
