About the Business

Specialties

Come to the beach and enjoy award-winning ales crafted by Head Brewer Blackwell at our ocean view bar or out on our patio and enjoy the ocean and view of the Long Beach Skyline. The BBC's outdoor patio offers spectacular view of the beach, water, Long Beach skyline and the Queen Mary. The patio has heaters and a portion of it is covered. There is room for gatherings of up to 80, but availability is limited during busy times. The brewery is a seven barrel system manufactured by Pub Brewing Systems. We have two fourteen barrel fermenters and two seven barrel fermenters and seven serving tanks. This system operates at near capacity and produces over 1000 barrels annually. We're a great and fun restaurant for hosting group parties or events.

History

Established in 1990.

The BBC is a unique restaurant located at the beach at the foot of the Belmont Pier in Belmont Shore, Long Beach. The Belmont Brewing Company opened in 1990 and is Southern California's oldest operating brewpub. Come by for a taster set of award-winning ales crafted by Head Brewer Blackwell. We serve classic American fare with international flair and the warmest customer service around. From our picturesque outdoor patio you can enjoy a beach front view of miles of beach, the ocean, the Long Beach skyline, Queen Mary and beachgoers along the bike path.
