As east coast transplants and long time residents of Carlsbad, our owners Grant and Jenny found numerous connections between the 2 coasts. They bring fond memories of New England summers to the west coast with homemade breakfast & lunch offerings using fresh, natural, minimally processed ingredients at Beach Plum Kitchen.

With a passion for great food and as long time residents of San Diego, they found that the restaurant scene in North County was in need of an inexpensive, everyday, neighborhood place that serves quality food in a comfortable and contemporary setting. So they made it their mission to create a neighborhood gathering place that serves affordably priced chef quality fresh food in a relaxed & friendly environment.Their food philosophy can be defined in 3 words: keep it simple. By taking fresh, minimally processed ingredients, and combining them in simple ways, they find that their natural freshness shines through creating bold and interesting flavors.
