History
Established in 2012.
Originally opened in 2012 in midtown, Bacon & Butter became known for both its brunch and burgers. In 2014, the restaurant moved to the Tahoe Park neighborhood of Sacramento and is now conventiently located off the 50 freeway. A local, neighborhood eatery, nestled on the corner of 59th and Broadway.

Bacon & Butter is owned and operated by Executive Chef, Billy Zoellin and his sister Amber Michel. Chef Zoellin studied culinary arts at American River College and trained under some of the finest chefs in the Sacramento area. He has been featured on Food Network and in The Michelin Guide 2019-2023. B&B opened their first restaurant in midtown Sacramento in 2012. In September of 2014, Zoellin and Michel closed the midtown restaurant and reopened Bacon & Butter in it’s current location in Tahoe Park, the neighborhood where they grew up. They moved the restaurant home to the Tahoe Park neighborhood of Sacramento.
