History
Established in 2012.
The original California Kebab opened in September of 2009, near the campus of SDSU. We moved to Pacific Beach in 2012 with the goal of creating a community-centric gathering place for people to eat, drink, and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. With the move came the opportunity to begin our brewing operation, and Amplified Ale Works was born. Whether you're in town for the weekend, or looking for a new regular spot, we look forward to serving you soon. Cheers!

Alex Pierson has a passion for food and beer. He and his cofounder created this business nine years ago in a small shop next to San Diego State University, upgrading to this location in Pacific Beach in order to become Amplified Ale Works. He has a love for music and wants to blend that with the awesome, laid back, vibe that has been embodied by thousands over the years.
