Located on lovely Forest Avenue in Laguna Beach, 230 Forest Avenue Restaurant & Bar occupies the historic space on the town's quaint thoroughfare that once served as the area's local Market & Delicatessen. Today 230 Forest Avenue Restaurant & Bar is the epicenter of dining and activity in Laguna Beach. Chef/Owner Marc A. Cohen has been serving up Fresh Innovative Seafood, Steaks & Martini's to the locals since 1995. The building's exterior has remained relatively unchanged since the 1930's, and the original doors that were opened daily to nourish the neighborhood are still hanging today welcoming all those that stroll by. Although our structure remains a gem on the City's Historic Resources Inventory List, Chef Marc's imaginative and thoughtful menu's change often to reflect the best of what is seasonally available.

Originally from the East Coast, Chef Marc Cohen shows his allegiance to his hometown, Baltimore by brining fresh fish and seafood to the forefront of his menus. Chef Cohen received his culinary training at Johnson & Wales University and has been operating multiple award winning restaurants in Orange County since 1996.
