In the historic setting of the 1930 La Posada Hotel we have recreated the magic days of The Fred Harvey Company. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the year. We welcome all travelers to stop and visit the hotel as well the restauratn and lounge. La Posada means is Spanish for "the resting place". That is our purpose. To provide the traveler with a comfortable place to rest. The restaurant is chef owned and operated. Featuring fresh and local foods as well as fresh fish flown in daily. Game meats are featured. Grilled steaks, prime rib and fresh fish every night. Pasta, salads and desserts. The featured dishes include locally raised orgainic Churro Lamb. Great bar with lots of specail drinks. History

Established in 2000.

The hotel was almost demolished in the 1980s when it was owned by the railroad. It was saved by two local ladies who were able to have the buliding declared an historical treasure. In 1997 restoration began on the hotel. In 2000 the restoration of the Turquoise Room was completed and it was opened by renouned chef John Sharpe. The business slowly built up over the years as the hotel restored more rooms. From 3 rooms in the begining to 52 at the time of completion. The building and the gardens are a sight not to be missed. The restaurant is now considered by all the guide books and travel sites as the place to eat if you are in Northern Arizona. It is not to be missed. A real oasis in the high desert of Arizona.
