History

Established in 1995.

Conceived in 1995 in the arena of high-level event planning and creative cuisine, The Herb Box is powered by owner Susan Smederovac-Wilcox. Originally a catering-only business, the demand for the herb box food outside of events grew, and the first to-go only location on Shea Boulevard was opened. Now, the herb box brands include a full service catering + events company, two full service restaurants in Scottsdale located on the famed Fifth Avenue in Old Town , and on Shea Boulevard & Scottsdale Road. Even after 24 years, the goal has remained the same: feed people good nutritious whole foods that taste awesome.

With over 25 years of hospitality experience, Susan Wilcox, owner and founder, created the herb box with one goal - to provide good food that tastes awesome. Using her passion for perfectly prepared food and joy for helping others celebrate life special moments, Susan created a brand that has grown into a three-tiered powerhouse. Susan is still very hands on in the business and continues to look for new and innovative ways to satisfy and help her clients.
