Taco Chelo is a collaboration between chef Suny Santana, artist Gennaro Garcia and restaurateur Aaron Chamberlin. The restaurant and bar combines the culinary and visual arts to pay homage to chef Suny's Mexican heritage with a concise menu of tacos, vegetables and beverages.

History

Established in 2018.

Taco Chelo is named for chef Suny Santana's mother, nicknamed "Chelo." We believe in nourishing our guests and building community through food. Our sister restaurants include St. Francis, Phoenix Public Market Cafe and Tempe Public Market Cafe.
