History

Established in 2002.

La Grande Orange was born in what was once a vast sea of orange groves in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. In the 30s, it was well known that Arizona's young and spirited would park their cars in a large circle with their headlights on and dance to the tunes of Benny Goodman and Count Basie. Inspired by that memory, the restaurant pays reverence to those good times, positive vibrations, and winning spirit. La Grande Orange Grocery organic coffee / breakfast bar, café, pizzeria, and a funky 'retail grocery.' LGO also has a full wine department. The food is simple and clean with no hidden ingredients - honest and organic when possible. The menu showcases La Grande Orange's ability to bring together big flavors and fresh ingredients. The dishes are fairly simple with a clear direction and done from the heart.
