History
Established in 2001.
The building was built from the ground up in 2001 for Sapporo. In 2009, Sapporo was sold to a large, national commercial restaurant group. The original owners purchased it back from that group in November 2018 with the intent to bring back the original, locally owned, vibe of dinnertainment. They wanted a new name and Kasai (Japanese for fire/flame) fit the concept perfectly. In March of 2020 they began a light remodel adding 4 additional teppanyaki tables. Kasai is now the #1 Teppanyaki restaurant in Arizona. We strive to craft amazing memories for each and every visitor. The owners take pride in Kasai and you'll see them working hard, hosting, running food, visiting tables, and bussing tables.
