History
Established in 1994.
For more than 20 years Rembrandt's Coffee House has been a staple in Downtown Chattanooga. Consistently voted as the city's favorite local coffee shop and favorite dessert, the family-owned business is the daily pulse of the charming Bluff View Art District. The historic Newell building that houses Rembrandt's and River Gallery was restored before it's initial opening in 1994. Ample cobblestone patio seating surrounds the building's garden atmosphere, and cozy indoor fireplace seating is available inside for those cooler nights and cold winter days. All pastries, breads, cakes and chocolates are made on site by our skilled pastry chefs and chocolatier who together have more than 50 years of culinary experience. Rembrandt's coffees are also roasted on site at Rembrandt's Roasting Company, just steps from the coffee house itself.
