At the BLUEGILL we offer more than just a commitment to fresh traditional seafood in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Our goal is to create a memorable dining experience with great service that will have you and your guests returning time and time again to create more memories of Fun! The BLUEGILL is located right on the Mobile Delta. You can join in on the fun by car or join us by boat ( save 10% if you come by boat!) We are open six nights a week (Tuesday- Sunday 11am- 10 pm) We feature live local musical entertainment nightly on our Wharf Amphitheatre! Come for lunch, we feature Daily Lunch Specials that include Southern favorites and new features too!

History

Established in 1958.

The BLUEGILL was founded in 1958, and throughout the years has been a great Local seafood shack by the side of the road. We continue to offer fresh seafood daily. Our recipes are traditional, and the gumbo recipe is the same from 1958! Elvis used to call the BLUEGILL home.

The BLUEGILL is part of Cooper Restaurants, Inc., and the sister restaurants of Felix's Fish Camp and two Ruth's Chris Steak House franchises in Mobile, AL and Ridgeland, MS. Cooper Restaurants is proud to carry on the dining traditions began on the Causeway in 1958.
